Jealous Gallery: Live screen-printing with Magda Archer, 7pm - 10pm

Artist Magda Archer will be doing screen-printing demonstrations on Jealous Gallery's stand throughout the Young Collectors' Evening. Visitors will get to assist in the making of a screen-print and buy an exclusive, affordable edition available only on the night. (http://www.londonprintfair.com)

There was several illustrated talks during the evening I attended the fair, but this one with jealous gallery was one that particularly peeked my interest. Upon my arrival to the designated booth set in the Royal Academy, there were several artists doing demonstrations of screen printing in the space. While printing they picked up topics on What a print was? What an edition was and how to know the value of a numbered edition print. While the discussion was informative I thought the demonstration of the actual printmaking added a interactive element to the experience and one could make a print and take it away. It was a clever way of promoting the gallery and the artists.
